In the sight of our God and Father, pure and undefiled religion is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress … James 1:27 |
Those who are old enough have tales about fleeing with their families to the jungle to escape the Khmer Rouge. One remembered a soldier shooting his father because he wore glasses [glasses indicated he could read, making him a threat to the Khmer Rouge regime]. |
The Cambodian people suffered the Killing Fields from 1975 through 1979. During this time approximately one third of the population died at the hands of the Khmer Rouge [the Red Cambodians]. Today, over thirty years later, virtually every Cambodian is still affected by the Killing Fields. |

Those who are too young to have lived through the Killing Fields tell of a grandmother who was starved to death, of a mother who disappeared, of an uncle who was tortured to death at Tuol Sleng Prison. MILLIONS OF CAMBODIANS ARE SEARCHING FOR HOPE AND FOR THE MEANING OF LIFE! |
A Vision of HOPE! As RTM and other Christian organizations share the Hope in Jesus Christ, Cambodia will become a Christian nation within one generation. |
